Bellamy Printz

Bellamy Printz is originally from New York City, and has lived in Cleveland since 1996. She received her BA from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and her MFA from University of Washington, Seattle. Printz’s work has been shown extensively throughout NE Ohio, as well as in venues in the US, as well as in Dresden, Germany; Santiago, Chile, and more. Her work is included in the State of Ohio, CARTA, Progressive Insurance and Cleveland Clinic collections, as well as in many notable private collections. Dedicated to her craft of printmaking, she co-founded Zygote Press in 1996. She and her partner at Zygote, Liz Maugans, were recipients of the 2012 Martha Joseph Award from the Cleveland Arts Prize. After almost 14 years working as a Curator for Cleveland Clinic, she recently started her own business, Deep Dive Art Projects and Editions, located in Cleveland’s Waterloo Arts District.
